Professor Veselin Kesich taught New Testament studies
at St. Vladimir's Seminary for many years where his warmth and love for the Gospel endeared
many students to him.
The attendees at the 1997 Eagle River
Institute loved him and his teaching. He had no notes, and no outline, just the New Testament!
And does he ever know the New Testament! This series on the early church covers the first century
mostly when the church was being formed and the apostles and others were eyewitnesses of our
Lord.
Professor Kesich is
Serbian and although he has lived here over 50 years, still has a pretty healthy accent. You'll
want to listen to these several times to get the most from his teaching. His teaching is not
heavy or too academic.
This series on the early church touches
on topics such as fundamentalism, feminism, evangelism, church growth, development of the canon
of scripture, development of creeds, and much more. It is not only for pastors but all laymen
will learn from it.
