This series is the culmination of a lifetime of study for this Orthodox scholar and monk.
The teaching is lively, yet very precise. Each word is placed carefully to
impart the truth about Jesus Christ and the Trinity. Heresy is exposed as
the scriptures are explained. And of course the great stories he tells are
so wonderful! Because the setting was in a local parish for a week, †Bishop KALLISTOS was more personable than he is at some of his hurried speaking engagements
before large audiences. This is great teaching.
This series of talks was given in conjunction with the series Above All His Friends by Dr Eugen Pentiuc. Dr Pentiuc delivered his talks in the afternoon and Bishop Kallistos gave his talks in the evening. There are references to each others talks in both of their lectures.
