BL-64-01     Facing Sexual Addiction and Abuse
BL-64-02     (continued) and Survivor Panel

Lynn Breck presents a description of the levels of sexual addiction and discusses the consequences for those who are affected by the addict's behavior. She examines how they control the addicted and the resulting pain in themselves and their victims. This frank discussion from an Orthodox Christian perspective is delivered with a sense of caring and hope. Some of the addicts in this discussion are leaders in their orthodox churches.

Sexual addiction usually involves others and these others suffer greatly. It includes specific suggestions for healing individuals and the church. We learn that anyone can become a sex addict. Qualities such as outward appearances, church attendance, and social status do not render a person immune to sexual addiction.

Recording two includes a discussion of the topic by a group of women survivors of sexual abuse.
